The wait is finally over. Replacing the current Lincoln Town Car in the limousine industry will be the Lincoln MKT. The successor to the Lincoln Town Car is the 2013 model year Lincoln MKT Town Car, a cross-over styled vehicle which will be launched in Atlantic City ILCT Limo Show in November 2011 and will reappear with some refinements at the 2012 International LCT Limo Show in Las Vegas in February 2013. We cannot wait to see this wonderful Evolution Limo on the streets of London.

BOOK YOUR LIMO EARLY FOR THE NEW PROM SEASON
Limousine operators are expecting a busy 2012, as many report a spate of early bookings for the school prom season.
According to information being gathered across the UK Limousine industry, limo companies throughout the England are experiencing an unusually early number of vehicle bookings compared to previous prom seasons. January through to April are traditionally the busiest times for bookings, as schools announce the dates for their events – but some operators were being booked-up as early as June this year.
One limo operation in the Yorkshire area said; “Although we only have about seven jobs booked in for the proms in 2012, it’s very unusual for this to happen so early. Prices for vehicles are being maintained as well, so I think if operators are keeping up with the trends, then they could be in for a very busy year.’
It seems as if the traditional stretched limousine is becoming less popular every year – as requests for something different to the norm is high on the school leavers lists. Traditional wedding and novelty vehicles like the A-Team Van Limo, have become the new trend with top end limousine prices being charged and being maintained.
A limo operator commented, “A few years ago, stretched limousines was the biggest part of our company, but that has changed very recently as customers continue to look for something a little bit different every year. Our classic replica vehicles and limo buses have overtaken the limousine – we’ve even seen operational fire engines, VW Camper vans and Police vehicles at recent proms!’
Operators battle every year to keep up with the demand for vehicles, especially when the Royal Ascot falls in the middle of the prom season. Dates for the Ascot event fall around a week later in 2012 – meaning operators may miss some key prom dates which are normally towards the end of June.
